Video from Disneyland PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN movie sneak peek

DisneyParks Blog just posted video from the debut weekend of Disneyland’s exclusive in-park sneak preview of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES in 3D, now screening weekend nights.

Imagineers have transformed the Big Thunder Trail area with the masts, rigging and deck barrels of a pirate ship and manned the scene with a fun-loving crew of scalawags who train guests in buccaneer style to join their crew. Dramatic sound design, lighting and bursts of flame help set the mood, and a peg-legged parrot names Captain Squawk interacts with guests waiting to step aboard.

Soon the pirate crew engage in an interactive pre-show guests seated on-deck before Jack Sparrow appears on the screen to introduce an exclusive 3D preview of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES with never-before-seen film clips and scenes from Disney’s upcoming movie, starring Johnny Depp, Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, Kevin R. McNally, Sam Claflin and Astrid Berges-Frisbey.

This PIRATES 4 sneak peek event currently takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights now through May 30th at Disneyland park in Anaheim, and will expand to nightly show times from April 15th to May 1st. Visit the official PIRATES 4 sneak peek page at the Disneyland website for more information.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES is due to anchor in theaters on May 20th.
