Go beyond TRON:LEGACY with ‘The Next Day’ viral video ‘leaked’ online

Call it a continuation of the TRON:LEGACY ARG viral campaign, or a hint at what may come in a third TRON movie, or just a ‘leaked’ Blu-ray bonus feature previewing TRON:LEGACY’s Blu-ray/DVD release on April 5, but the new YouTube video which has surfaced is definitely intriguing to say the least. Recounting the history behind and events enacted during the viral Flynn Lives movement, interviews and archival footage tells the saga of Kevin Flynn’s (Jeff Bridges) disappearance from the world and the ascendancy of his son Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) as controlling shareholder of ENCOM, which Kevin’s best friend Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) has tended while Sam grew up. Fans will recall another character from the TRON past, former ENCOM lead programmer Roy Kleinberg (Dan Shor) who was represented on the other side of the screen in 1982 as the program “Ram.” If Roy joins the other TRON:LEGACY characters when the franchise moves forward, might that also signal the long-awaited return of Cindy Morgan as Lora Baines/Yori too?

This video also reveals the ARG identity of the mysterious hacker “Zack Attack” who provided clues and messages to the TRON:LEGACY alternate reality game players last year as the film’s viral campaign expanded around the world.  Suffice it to say, you may want to avoid watching this ‘leaked’ video (while it lasts?) if you wish to stay spoiler-free for the possibility of a TRON 3 film and/or ARG!  Fair warning has been given, so click to play the video below at your own spoiler risk:
