A quick post-event follow-up on our earlier preview of  THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 30th Anniversary charity screening tonight:

STAR WARS stars Harrison Ford, Peter Mayhew, Billy Dee Williams and Ewan McGregor greeted press and fans alike at the ArcLight Hollywood theater, opening the charity screening to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.   Director Jon Favreau also attended the screening and Q&A session with Ford, who stars in their upcoming film project COWBOYS AND ALIENS.

Geoff Boucher of the LA Times entertainment blog Hero Complex hosted the post-movie chat, in which Harrison Ford expressed his good fortune being included in such a cinematic phenomenon, his pride in George Lucas using EMPIRE’s anniversary to benefit good causes throughout the year, and his appreciation to fans for supporting the STAR WARS films for decades.
