Featuring Sketch Cards with characters and vehicle artwork and Autograph Cards, Topps guarantees you’ll get a rare Sketch Card in every box.

Of course one of the most desirable features of Topps’ EMPIRE STRIKES BACK card set is the 3D image technology, and judging by the promotional sample FilmEdge received, we can assure you the 3D effect is spectacular! Below is our scan of the promo card we got, featuring Luke Skywalker in the cockpit of his snowspeeder, leading the Rebel battle with the Imperial AT-AT walkers on Hoth.

The widescreen dimensions of the card size it at 4.75″ wide by 2.5″ high, providing the 3D image with the full-size area of the card front for crisp detail, vivid colors and superb depth perception. As noted, the image is of much higher resolution than the photo above can capture, even to the fine lines in the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK logo beneath.

We’re sure you STAR WARS fans can’t wait to see these ESB cards too, so FilmEdge.net will give away ten of these very rare Topps EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 3D collectible cards to ten lucky fans!

This Luke Skywalker 3D card was offered only to distributors and retailers for promotional use, you cannot buy them in stores now or when Topps’ EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 3D card sets ship this May.

To be eligible to win one of these rare items, follow FilmEdge on Twitter where ten lucky fans will chosen at random to win one Topps’ EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 3D Trading Card later this week.  Go to the FilmEdge article for more details and may the Force be with you!
